67: Seth Park — Just Like You

"Just like you," is a phrase many a mother will warn their children about the children they will one day have. Seth Park's mom did, and she was right. But the karma didn't just stay with Seth. Seth told this story at the November 2017 Story Night when the theme was "What Goes Around."

On a personal note, I had a good friend growing up who when he did grow up decided to not have children for fear they would end up just like him.

The song for this episode is "Once in a Lifetime" by Talking Heads.

Playing cards of most kinds opens you up to runs of bad luck, some by the universe's random operations and others by your opponent's designs. So one time during a run of bad luck Suzanne took luck into her own hand. It ended up revealing a different kind of misdeal.

Our thanks to Suzanne for her story.
